EPT/MSRT

English language tests in the country are required for PhD students, EPT stands for the English proficiency test for Azad University, and MSRT stands for the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and is affiliated with the universities of the Ministry of Science. Both of these English language tests are general, testing grammar knowledge and comprehension of scholars. The only difference is that MSRT has listening skill section, but this skill is not available in EPT. The structure of the EPT test is in three parts: vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. In the MSRT test, in addition to the previous three sections, there is an additional listening section for the assessment of auditory skills. At Arad Institute, both tests are conducted over a 30-session period and the techniques and methods are taught, and then the grammar and vocabulary topics are instructed. It should be noted that this course is for those who have an intermediate English language background.
